Fy stori / My story
Hia, fy enw i yw Caryl ac rwyf yn fam i ddau o fechgyn drigionus - Hari-Jac (5 oed) a Tomi-Wyn (bron yn ddwy oed).
Pam sefydlu bwtic Doti a Celt i blant?
Wel, rwy’n dwlu ar ddillad, ac fel mam rwy’n treulio tipyn o fy amser yn edrych am ddillad i’r bois (ma’ nhw’n tyfu mor gloi) ac ar yr un pryd yn trio fy ngorau i beidio gor wario am nad ydynt yn y dillad am sbel fawr. Rwy’n hoffi dillad pert, lliwgar a gwahanol– ac yn aml iawn yn cael fy siomi wrth bori drwy siopiau’r stryd fawr.
Ganol nos (tra’n bwydo Tomi-Wyn a pori ar-lein am ddillad newydd i’r bois) cefais y ‘lightbulb moment’ ......pam se’n i yn dechrau busnes bach yng nghefn gwlad Ceredigion yn gwerthu casgliad o ddillad lliwgar, ffynci a ffordduadwy.
A dyna fe....dechrau Doti a Celt.
Ers y foment yna cyn Nadolig 2018...mae Doti a Celt wedi mynd o nerth i nerth, diolch i Facebook/Instagram, cwsmeriaid ffyddlon ac i Andrew am ofalu am y bois tra mod i'n gweithio.....mae’r stondin wedi ymddangos mewn sioeau, ffeiriau dillad, siopiau pop up a partis dillad.
Rwy’n gyffrous iawn am y flwyddyn sydd i ddod......mae sioe Ffasiwn i Blant ar y gweill....a phwy a wyr...efallai bydd Siop Doti a Celt ar y stryd fawr cyn bo hir.

Hiya, my name is Caryl and I’m a mum to two mischievous little boys—Hari Jac (4) and Tomi-Wyn (10 months old).
Why set up Doti a Celt children’s boutique?
I love clothes, and as a mother I spend a lot of time looking for clothes for the boys (they grow so quickly) and at the same time I try my best not to over spend as they grow out of clothes so fast. I love pretty, colourful and quirky clothing—and get disappointed with the selection of clothing available on the high street.
One evening (whilst feeding Tomi-Wyn and browsing online for boys clothes) I had a ‘lightbulb moment’......why not start a small business in rural Ceredigion selling a collection of colourful, funky and affordable clothing.
That was is it...the start of Doti a Celt.
Since that moment before Christmas 2018, Doti a Celt has gone from strength to strength, thanks to the power of social media Facebook/Instagram, my loyal customers and my partner Andrew for looking after the boys whilst I'm working....Doti a Celt’s stall has appeared in shows, fairs, pop up shops and clothes parties.
I’m excited for the year ahead...a Children’s Fashion Show is on the cards...and who knows...maybe a Doti a Celt Siop will appear on the high street very soon.
